I work at the intersection of AI, enterprise systems and commerce, designing the technology, architecture and teams behind them.
01
Turning complex problems into practical, scalable systems.
AI agent architecture, enterprise knowledge systems, governance, private AI, permissions, observability and practical adoption.
Architecture strategy, distributed systems, integrations, platforms, technology strategy and technical leadership.
Enterprise retail and commerce architecture from composable platforms and Shopify Plus to integrations, catalog, order management, AI-driven commerce and agent-ready experiences.
02
What I’m exploring, building and thinking about now.
From pilots to production systems that can be trusted with real business workflows.
RAG, MCP, context, governance, permissions and what agents should actually be allowed to do.
How AI agents change discovery, commerce interfaces, workflows and architecture.
How AI coding agents are changing engineering workflows, architecture boundaries and software delivery.
03
Products and platforms where AI, architecture and product thinking meet real implementation.
04
Ideas, lessons and observations from my work.
05
Some recurring thoughts I keep coming back to.

AI agents are easy to demo.
They're difficult to trust in an enterprise.
Connecting an agent to a system is easy.
Deciding what it should be allowed to do is harder.
Enterprise architecture is mostly
the management of constraints and tradeoffs.
Commerce is becoming agent-ready.
Most enterprise commerce stacks aren't.
